CARES4WOUNDS (C4W) clinical adoption by Ren Ci Hospital was showcased at AIC’s Community Care Digital Transformation Plan 2022. This initiative was aimed at guiding the community care sector in accelerating its digitalization efforts.
The Community Care Digital Transformation Plan (CCDTP) is developed by the Community Care Technology Council*, supported by the Agency for Integrated Care and Ministry of Health, in partnership with other stakeholders such as the National Council of Social Service.
It aims to deliver better care and support for clients and their caregivers in the community, boost productivity and work satisfaction within Community Care Organizations (CCOs), and provide Singaporeans with timely, reasonably priced, and high-quality care through a digitally-driven industry.
C4W is a solution with AI capabilities for managing and monitoring wound images. It enables tracking of progress, early diagnosis of wound deterioration, and AI-based predictions of healing progress that also offer insights when a treatment is not performing as planned. As there is no physical contact, it is also a less uncomfortable way for residents. Additionally, C4W has shown positive effects in terms of evaluation and documentation times, which have decreased to 1 minute per wound from 8 minutes if manual recording was utilised in the past.
Tetsuyu Healthcare Holdings is pleased to see the development of C4W as a strategy for assisting Ren Ci Hospital on their road toward digitalization.
