Dr. Shinsuke Muto
Co-founder

Dr Muto, is co-founder and Director of Tetsuyu Healthcare, Singapore. A Cardiologist by training, Dr Muto’s passion is to help the elderly live happily with dignity and quality. Witnessing elderly patients’ suffering post hospital discharge drove him to create a home care model enabled by cloud technology to transform lives. His four clinics in Tokyo and Miyagi serve 1,000 elderly patients with 24,000 home visits annually in Japan, including Tsunami-swept communities.

Dr Muto advises the Japanese government on healthcare information technology and was awarded Innovator of the Year 2015 by a consortium recognising the most innovative healthcare professional in Japan. He was awarded the 29th Takemi Incentive Award in 2019.

Currently, other than his full-time appointments at Tetsuyu and Integrity Healthcare, he serves as a clinical professor at the Tokyo Medical and Dental University Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, as Board Member at Health and Global Policy Institute, as Director at Asia Pacific Initiative, and as Chairman of the Medical Excellence JAPAN Inbound Committee. Prior to this, Dr Muto served as Court Physician, Imperial Household Agency of Japan. He was also a Consultant with McKinsey and Company in Japan. Dr Muto holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.

He brings into Singapore, Japan’s holistic home care concept and his deep experience of pairing a good care model with technology to improve nursing and medical care, and productivity. He also works with our local team to customise this model for Singapore’s needs.

Ms. Ng Li Lian
Co-Founder & Managing Director

B.Acc (NUS); LL.B (Hons) (University of London); Executive MBA (INSEAD)

Li Lian is co-founder and Managing Director of Tetsuyu Healthcare, Singapore. She is responsible for strategic and corporate development, marketing and operations.

Prior to founding Tetsuyu, Li Lian has close to two decades of experience in consumer banking where she drove strategy, marketing and business management. As Head of the Personal Banking segment at OCBC Bank, she was responsible for the customer value propositions of the clients in the consumer bank.

Li Lian is passionate about developing and implementing strategies that solve the pain points of consumers and sees great possibilities to transform services for the ageing population in Singapore. She also sees an excellent opportunity for public, private and community sector partnerships to address some of the issues relating to our ageing society.

Li Lian and her team at Tetsuyu are pushing the boundaries on eldercare technologies with care management, AI wound management and other applications. The team was honoured with the HIMMS Asia Pacific Excellence in Start-up Innovation Award 2017, INNOVATION OF THE YEAR – TECHNOLOGY award at the 8th Eldercare Innovation Award 2020 and Grand Prize Winner for 2021 Healthy Aging Prize for Asian Innovation (HAPI).

Li Lian holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore, a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of London, an Advance Diploma in Wealth Management from the Wealth Management Institute and an Executive MBA from INSEAD.

Joshua How
Business & Operational Consultant

Joshua is our Business & Operational Consultant. 

Having years of experience in project management and operations, he is well versed in the conceptualization and roll outs of several internal SaaS applications, such as the asset tracking system and web content management systems that were successfully implemented for a number of government ministries, including MINDEF, AGC, and NAC, to mention a few. Prior to Tetsuyu, Joshua worked as the Project Director with a Singapore based IT firm for 13 years and had successfully expanded the firm internationally to both Philippines and Myanmar. 

Together with the different teams in Tetsuyu, Joshua is in charge of evaluating the business operations and resource utilization, while developing and implementing strategies in line with the corporate objectives. He also acts as the Project Director for major projects in Tetsuyu.

Khong Teck Low
Technical Lead (Backend)

Khong Teck Low (KT) is our IT Backend Lead.

He is responsible for coordinating,  delegating the responsibilities, and overseeing the day-to-day functions of the IT Department. 

KT has comprehensive knowledge and skills in networking, security, administration, software programming, web development, and IT infrastructure to guide all the professionals working on the IT Team. He is also responsible for motivating the team and maintaining a comfortable, conducive working environment. Besides carrying out administrative functions, he also keeps abreast of changes in the standards, technologies, and methodologies for the company. He is also responsible for coordinating the application of software releases, development, executing company policies, and working with other departments.

Esther Teo
Marketing and Business Development Manager

Bachelor of Science (Hons) Business Management

Esther is our Marketing and Business Development Manager.

Prior to joining the Tetsuyu team, she was in the events industry for the last 3 years. She was the marketing lead for SingEx’s first event that transitioned from physical to digital format due to the COVID-19 situation. It was a CME-certified event for healthcare professionals. She was also part of the marketing team for SFF x SWITCH, one of the largest tech events in Singapore.

She firmly believes that the solutions that Tetsuyu offers will be able to help care staff achieve better productivity and hence, be able to focus on providing better care for their patients. With that, she hopes to help more organisations adopt the systems and help push Tetsuyu’s expansion into new markets.

Jean Huan
Senior Software Engineer

Jean is our Senior Software Engineer for our web system CARES. 

She primarily works on enhancing and developing new features for the CARES system at Tetsuyu.

Jean has a passion for the healthcare and the medical industry that dates back to when she was a business student assistant at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. At Tetsuyu, she is committed to providing solutions that streamline workflow and processes of healthcare management and subsequently improve the quality of patient care.

YK
Senior Android Developer

YK is the Senior Android Developer for our Mobile Development team. 

With 5 years of experience in software development and computer networking, YK enjoys taking up challenges which he views as excellent opportunities for growth. He takes initiative in the work he does, which demonstrates his resilience and determination. Prior to joining Tetsuyu, YK has acquired extensive experience in both frontend and backend development at his previous company and was involved in multiple projects. 

Working together with the mobile team, YK is responsible for the Android development based on user requirements. He is also in charge of overseeing the application’s quality specifications.

Soo Ching Chong
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Manager

Soo Ching currently is our Quality Assurance and Regulatory Manager.

Previously, Soo Ching worked in a Healthcare and diagnostic company.

She has been in the ISO 13485 industry for 8 years. She strongly believes that regulating safety and quality is a must in the medical device and diagnostic industry.

 

Daryl Low
Marketing & Business Development Executive

Daryl is our Marketing & Business Development Executive. 

As a service oriented individual, Daryl is able to recognize and meet the needs of clients with his strong sense of empathy and compassion, an emotional skill that is crucial in performing his role at Tetsuyu. He has been in the healthcare industry for the past few years, with prior experience in the performance and administration of patient care services. 

Together with the marketing team, Daryl is involved in developing the organization’s brand and marketing strategy. He supports client facing activities to drive business opportunities and sales. He is also responsible for after sales support and client engagement.

Ken Pang
Backend Developer

Ken is the Backend Developer for our web system CARES. 

He is a full stack developer with a background in Civil Engineering, with prior experience in coding functions that help streamline company operations that lead to improved business productivity. His creativity and passion for developing solutions to real-life problems can be reflected in the projects he has taken up, including GolfQueue, an application that allows users to view the queue situation and weather forecast at public golf driving ranges.  

Ken has a comprehensive understanding of a range of computing languages and software development tools that can assist him in performing his role at Tetsuyu. Together with the web development team, Ken is involved in the design and development of CARES software catered to the specific needs of our community care clients. 

Mr. Eiji Uda
Executive Advisor

Mr. Uda is a veteran technology pioneer with vast international experience and network, working for Salesforce.com from 2004 to 2014 as President & CEO of Salesforce.com KK. In April 2012, he was promoted to Executive Vice President.

Prior to Salesforce.com, from 2001 to 2004, Mr Uda was appointed the President & CEO of SoftBank Commerce, which is the largest distributor of IT services and broadband network service. Mr Uda kick-started his career in technology with IBM Japan from 1981 to 2001. In the two decades, he served in a variety of management roles including Client Executive of Mega Bank, Executive Assistant to CEO of IBM Japan, a general manager of Server Brand, GM of Information Service Industry which was responsible for strategic alliance with leading IT firms, and a director of APAC.

At present, he is also Executive Advisor of Salesforce.com KK and Zuora Inc., a member of the Advisory Board of DocuSign Inc., and external member of the board of directors of Transcosmos Inc. In October 2015, he also joined Tetsuyu Healthcare Holdings as Executive Advisor and an investor.

Professor Hiromi Sanada

Professor Sanada has years of experience in the healthcare sector with vast knowledge and experience in nursing, and medical insights. Upon graduating from St. Luke’s College of Nursing, she proceeded to complete Cleveland Clinic St. Luke’s Branch ET school before pursuing a Doctoral of Medicine in Kanazawa University School of Medicine and being trained at the University of Illinois Graduate School of Nursing.

Following her endeavours in the healthcare sector, she embarked on the role of a professor for two decades in The University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine, where she was appointed to the Department of Health Sciences, and Department of Geriatric Nursing/Wound Nursing.

Presently, she is the Director at The University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine, Global Nursing Research Centre. Since 2018, Professor Sanada’s research team and Tetsuyu have been jointly working on CARES4WOUNDS projects in Japan.

Dr. Divya Panicker

Medical Doctor and Wound Care Professional

Dr. Divya is an experienced Medical Doctor who specializes in clinical hyperbaric medicine, underwater medicine, emergency and trauma. She has significant experience and expertise in Wound Management focusing on chronic wounds and hypoxia.

A retired military doctor, Dr Divya is trained in emergency and adaptive medicine focused on trauma management. She is passionate in advancing wound management and promoting appropriate interventions rooted in the principle that every wound can heal with timely, accurate management. She has had experience in dealing with various complicated wounds that require multidisciplinary and advanced management strategies. Her goal is to introduce wound care practitioners to an algorithmic management style centered on international guidelines incorporating practical solutions to everyday challenges. A systematic approach will enable optimal repeatable results.

Ms. Genevieve Goh

Chief Executive Officer, Smart Solutions

Genevieve is currently CEO and founder of Smart Solution(S) Pte Ltd. While running the initial year of Smart Solutions, she was COO of Sense Infosys (a Singapore government invested company) and was focused to provide sales, solutions and support leadership in the development of data fusion and risk intelligence products and solutions. In 2018, the sales and solutions team responsible for delivering key risk analytics solutions was part of the expansion plan of Smart Solution(s) Pte Ltd and formed the pioneer team.

Genevieve has more than 15 years of experience in working with clients in various industry domains and advising on critical problem statements and alignment to available solutions available in the market. Prior to Smart Solutions(s), Genevieve has had the experience of working in Vietnam and has covered expansion of businesses in emerging markets and has vast insights on the intrinsic relationships in the high growth markets in ASIA.

Genevieve is trained as a data science practitioner in the last 2 years and has prior 13 years of sales and technical architecture skills to build performance and robust infrastructure to support critical business applications. Her focus has always been building customer centric solution without compromising quality and time and channels the team to focus on partnering our clients and partners for success.

Mr Seow Khee Wei

Mr Seow Khee Wei

Technology Consultant (Artificial Intelligence)

Khee Wei is currently an academic staff at Republic Polytechnic with a passion for applied Artificial Intelligence, especially in machine learning and deep learning.  He teaches pattern recognition and anomaly detection and works on projects leveraging such technologies.

He is currently attached to Tetsuyu Healthcare under the Industrial Attachment Scheme. He works closely with the Tetsuyu team to define the Artificial Intelligence technical framework roadmap and provides consultancy on technical implementation as part of Republic Polytechnic’s efforts in industry engagement.
