Tetsuyu Healthcare is honored to be part of the ‘Home-based Healthcare: The Present and The Future’ panel discussion organized by Teijin Pharma and SGInnovate held on 14 March 2023.
Together with the panel of experts from Teijin Pharma, IHH Healthcare, and Tetsuyu’s own Co-Founder Ms Ng Li Lian, it was an insightful session that touched on the evolution of home healthcare services and how the advancement of technology has facilitated this transition.
The evolution of home-based healthcare services in Singapore has shifted towards a more structured and ecosystem-based approach to managing homecare. Affordability remains a major barrier, but changes in Medisave and mindset shifts from insurance companies are starting to improve the situation. However, the lack of skilled nurses creates a barrier to adoption of homecare in Singapore. Healthcare technologies addressing specific pain points, such as mobile technology and compliance and skills gap technology, have also played a big role in the growth of home healthcare.
