CARES4WOUNDS is an AI-enabled Wound Care Imaging, Assessment, Management and Monitoring System designed to raise productivity and quality in wound care.
Helping you achieve optimal wound healing outcomes for patients
As the population in Singapore ages, hospitals and community care providers are experiencing an increase in elderly patients needing help with wound care, especially diabetic ulcers. Singapore has one of the highest rates of diabetes-related lower extremity amputation (LEA) in the world, with public hospitals here needing to conduct some four amputation procedures a day1.
Manual wound measurements and monitoring are time-consuming, inaccurate and prone to human error. Patients have to bear with pain and infection risks when wounds are measured using rulers and probes. Early intervention of infections are also difficult to detect through manual observation.
To prevent wound infections, or worse, amputations, care providers can benefit by adopting new digitisation and Artificial Intelligence to bridge skills gaps in wound management. We need an evidence-based approach to deliver better patient care outcomes.

Tetsuyu CARES4WOUNDS is a Wound Care Imaging, Assessment and Management System. Our C4W-B is a medical device. It has received its CE Mark and is listed in HSA Class B Medical Device Register for Singapore.
The AI-assisted mobile app uses iPhone or iPad tablets with multiple cameras as a user device. This enables 3D imaging, auto-measurement, auto-tissue classification, other assessment attributes and treatment management. PUSH or wound bed scores are easily calculated for easy wound-healing monitoring.
The web-based monitoring platform is accessible from any device with a browser and internet access, such as smartphones and personal computers. Data and images captured in the mobile app are uploaded and instantaneously to the monitoring platform.
